In general, the different sorbets I make, get commented by my family members as: it is good, it just tastes too much of insert name of a berry or fruit. But this is the sorbet, that always gets a long ‘ummm’ when tasted. So, I know this is so far the best one I can make.
What’s needed:
- 300g fresh diced mango (ca. 2 mangos)
- 100g sugar
- 100ml freshly pressed orange juice (ca. 4-5 oranges)
I cook the fruit together with sugar and juice a couple of minutes on a medium heat. Then I blend the mixture till it is smooth. After cooling down, the mass goes into ice cream machine. Sorbet is ready after 25 minutes churning.
